How do I add more pages to my main web page with HTML?

I'm a web design beginner and I would like to learn how to add more pages to my main home page with HTML. Please be specific. Include info on the link list I would make for choosing pages to look at. Please tell me how I would open and save my files.

Add more pages just like your home page, but with different names. Then make a navigation menu with all the links to your other pages. Add nav menu to all pages in your site.
