Newsmax Media ( http://www.newsmax.com ), an independent, multi-media publishing company, has announced the launch of its newly re-designed website. This change comes subsequent to last year’s redesign of their monthly news magazine, and aims to further Newsmax’s efforts to create a more “visually appealing brand.”
The site has been redesigned with a higher readability, as it places more emphasis on the major stories and makes the site faster and easier to navigate. The new look retains the lead story format, although with a larger display, followed by a “Newsfront” section that presents the important political news headlines of the day in an easy-to-read format. There are also more photographs highlighting the newsmakers and the news-making events of the day.
“The old design was too dense, busy and had begun over the years to look disorganized and antique-ish,” said Cable Neuhaus, creative director of Newsmax “And with smart folks all around the globe producing news sites that are cleaner and leaner, we felt it was time for us to be more contemporary as well. The new Newsmax site feels lighter, crisper, and is far more accessible to readers.”
