Why do I keep getting a blue screen?

I am trying to write a webpage using Webs.com but I am doing it the old fashion way by writing my own HTML (with embedded and external CSS). I recently took a high school class on web design and publishing and have started writing my own code. However

Can't tell you without the code you are using, but normally HTML/CSS does not affect computers in the way you describe. I think the problem was with your old computer and has nothing to do with the code you were writing. Possibly it does have something

Over the last 15 months, this column has focused on the way companies do business online. We have looked at how businesses — including airlines , doctors , bakers and grocers — deliver their messages through Web sites, blogs and social media.

For this post, however, I want to try something different. The Web has become a major tool for politicians looking to raise money, win votes, attract volunteers and present their messages and philosophies. It is widely believed that Barack Obama’s use of the Web and social media was a significant factor in the 2008 presidential election. No doubt the Republican Party took notice, and its current crop of presidential hopefuls is actively employing the Web and social media.

For business owners and politicians, many of the principles of operating online are the same. Both need clear messaging, powerful calls to action, social media integration and “stickiness” — content and features that prompt people to return
